Absa survey indicates optimism among manufacturers

JOHANNESBURG – The ABSA Manufacturing Survey for the third quarter gives some hope.

It showed confidence level among manufacturers held steady at 28 point during the third quarter which is about to end.
This was driven mainly by optimism regarding policy direction.
Around 700 business people in the manufacturing sector were surveyed by the Bureau for Economic Research between 7-26 August.
The executive for manufacturing at ABSA Business Banking, Justin Schmidt discussed this with eNCA.
